WRITE ABOUT A MOVIE/FILM
EXAMPLES

“The wrestler” is an American 2008 movie. It was nominated for two Oscars, but didn´t win. The story  was written by Robert Siegel, and the film was directed by Darren Aronofsky. The principal actors are Mickey Rourke and  Marisa Tomei, and the music was composed by Bruce Springsting.
The story is a drama, and it´s about an old wrestler, who works fighting for money. In his life he has lost everything. He doesn´t have  a house or a family anymore. His only friend is a strip dancer (Marisa Tomei). They talk and drink together, in his free time.
After he suffers a heart attack and goes to the hospital, he can not fight anymore, so he gets in contact with his daughter. He hasn´t seen her for many years and now the girl is very angry at him. After that he discovers that the only important thing in life for him is fighting. As a consequence he decides to fight, although he is very sick.
I liked this film because the actors are very good, and also because the film has examples of human values: love, friendship, hard work, compassion, solidarity, and honesty. The music has very interesting lyrics, and Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei worked hard to imitate a wrestler, and a strip dancer, so well.

“Yes, Man” is a comedy made in 2008. It is based on a book by Danny Wallace, and  the plot was written by Nicholas Stoller. The movie was directed by Peyton Reed and the music was composed by Mark Everett and Lyle Workman. The principal actor is Jim Carrey, who is very funny and famous.
The story is about a  banker, who has a very negative attitude in  life. His life is very boring and he doesn´t like to take risks. One day a friend invites him to go to a self-help program, to change his negative attitude. After that he starts   saying “Yes” to everything and he lives very risky, ridiculous and funny situations that finally make his life better. He meets a girl: Allison, and they start doing very dangerous things, like extreme sports. Finally they get married.
In my opinion, this film is very funny but is very interesting too, because it transmits that sometimes we have to do more than only work, study and eat, to enjoy life. We have to be brave, courageous, to take risks to make things better for us and for others.

“Fast and furious” is an action film made in 2009.  It was directed by Justin Lin, and the principal actors are Michelle Rodríguez, Vin Diesel, and Paul Walker. It was written by Chris Morgan, and  it is the fourth film of a series.
The story is about an uncovered agent from the FBI, (Paul Walker), who works with a friend and his sister, to catch drug dealers. They are professional drivers, and use very special “tunned” cars.  The special agent falls in love with the girl, and they finally get the criminals.
I think that this film is very good, because Vin Diesel is a great actor for action films, and also because the cars are very special and I like cars very much.
In addition, I go to the movies, or I watch DVD’s because I want to have fun and relax. I don´t like films that make me think too much.

ESTOS SON EJEMPLOS.
